Basic Hydraulic Principles > Hydraulic NRV
NRVs (or non-return valves) are installed within hydraulic systems in order to prevent hydraulic fluid flowing in the opposite direction to which it is intended.
Operation of a non-return valve or any hydraulic component is easy to understand when using an interactive animation such as the one shown. Pressure each side of the NRV can be controlled in order to demonstrate or observe the valve opening and closing depending on the changing pressures.
This interactive NRV is part of our CBT instructor pack for Basic Hydraulic Principles, which can be purchased now for delivery within 48 hours! Simply contact us!.
